How Swank Works

Swank Digital Campus provides streaming access to feature films, but works on a by-request only model where films are licensed for a one-year period for access to students and faculty.  As a result, films are limited.  Swank is ideal for faculty wishing to assign feature films to be viewed by students outside of class. Films are available on the Library's Swank Digital Campus page, and can be shared via a link.

How Swank works:

1) Go to the Swank Digital Campus site to see if the film you want is available.

2) Complete the request form.

3) The Library will review your request to make sure no other options exist, and will submit a request to Swank to activate the title.  This process may take up to 5 days so please plan accordingly so that you can ensure timely access to the film when you need it.

4) Once licensed, the Library will notify you of the link, which can be shared via e-mail or Moodle.
