What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy fiber arts and beading such as making jewelry, crochet purses, mixed media, wall art, or tie-dye mandalas.

Who is your favorite book hero or heroine?
Stargirl! By Jerry Spinelli. I read this book years ago, but she is still in my heart– I think I’ve seen her around campus– If she went to college, it most certainly would be Eckerd!

What are your current obsessions?
My current obsession is the Hulu series Reservation Dogs – currently in its second year. When I’m waiting for a new episode– I spend time with Opie– a pandemic puppy I have been raising with my partner. He is a Havanese/Maltese mix and is now 2 years old.

If you had to spend eternity on a desert island, what book would you bring?
I would bring a book of the Buddhist Sutras to ponder for eternity. Each read reveals a new understanding and universal truth.
