Streaming Video Collections

Streaming Video Collections at Eckerd College

Eckerd College Library offers access to over 43,000 streaming videos for faculty and students. Video collections support the academic program and include documentaries, feature films, primary source materials, theatre productions, and more. Most of these titles are listed in OneSearch but some collections can only be searched through their native interfaces. Finding DVDs in the Library

Use OneSearch to search for DVDs in the Library's collection that can be checked out or viewed in the library. Here are a few tips for searching:

  • Search for the title of the film, director, performer, producer, or other keywords related to the film
  • Use the limiters on the left to limit your search to:
    • Format = "Video"
    • Availability = "Available in the Library"
  • Each film should have a Call number that you can use to find the film in the Film Collection (1st Floor)Screenshot of searching films in OneSearch

Can't find what you're looking for? Consider the following options:

  • See our streaming video collections (right) to see what streaming options exist
  • Use Interlibrary Loan to borrow a film from another library
  • Make a request through the Library Suggestion Box
  • Rent via streaming platforms (e.g. YouTube, Amazon, etc.)
